Safety and risk assessment
The assessment of risks in the workplace requires the analysis of the operating conditions, the agents present and the methods of exposure of workers. LAB carries out technical activities for the preparation and updating of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) and for the insights provided for by Legislative Decree 81/2008.
The evaluations concern, among others, Chemical and biological risk, noise, vibrations, electromagnetic fields, artificial optical radiation, manual handling of loads, fire and airborne asbestos, with specific measures and checks when required by the type of risk.

Security activities may require instrumental surveys and specific assessments directly in the workplace. Lab runs Measurements of noise, vibrations, microclimate, lighting, electromagnetic fields and artificial optical radiation, with processing of the parameters provided for by the applicable technical standards.
The measurement activities are accompanied by the Occupational health and safety training, organized in relation to the roles, risks present and the obligations provided for by Legislative Decree 81/2008. For the microclimate, the evaluations may also include the determination of the indices PMV and PPD for the analysis of the thermal comfort conditions.
